On Saturday morning, the Santa Cruz farmer market takes place at Cabrillo college. All kind of fruits, vegetables, flowers... can be found there. Most if not all the products are organic and locally grown. Cheese is the only missing item :(

The fog comes during the night of summer. It will clear out during the day

Not quite as great as the French bread except for their sourdough bread

Not a friendly place for your puppy :(
Vegetables...
Fresh basil
Artichokes (California, probably, produces more than any other states)
Onions look good
Carot from the Coke farm (all organic produces)

Boudou
After the lunch we decided to visit Boudou. A near by village where my Grandpa started as farmer several decades ago. The view is breathtaking. I wish the winter could be less cold and long.

Fontange
We spend one day in the Cantal where my family leave. My grandma had prepared a very nice meal with the local speciality "Truffade" which is made from fresh Cantal cheese and potatoes. After the lunch we roamed around Fontange village.

We started the day by visiting my sister Veronique at Sermentizon. After a nice lunch we went to the Clermont-Ferrand skate park where Benoit did well (not like me). The day after we met my second sister Anne at Chas and stopped the Cournon skate park.

Pelleloup
After spending few days at Marseille, we stopped at my parents' house. They leave in a village called "Pelleloup" not too far from Clermont-Ferrand. The village has only one house :)
The kids helped me scared all the chicken from the farm. We caught the goose and the rooster.
After that we went to the city Lezoux. We stopped by the school where I studied when I was 11 to 14 years old. The school has a small roller park, so we decided to stop and do a little bit of skateboarding.
