A few yards from Tree In the Wall main boulders, more routes can be found. Drunk as a Skunk is a great line, overhanging with not so big holds. Worth a try.

Big Sur Garrapata Bouldering
Garrapata Creek has some decent granite and sandstone bouldering. It can be found about 9 miles south the Rio road cross light.

Carmel Bouldering
Since Castle Rock is too warm, we headed down to Carmel for some kick ass beach bouldering on decent sandstone.
We spotted that overhanging line which freaked us out since it was probably about 18 feet tall.

Epic Bouldering Session at Castle Rock
Brian and I met Rob at Castle Rock on Sunday afternoon. We found that place at Indian Rock which has some "new" boulders.
We got shut down by a few problems which are not in the video. Next time, if we can send them.

Christophe climbing at Planet Granit (Frenchman does not dyno)
Brian my climbing partner told me that I do not dyno and I always do the move static. On Saturday, Claire was there to film that short clip of me climbing that stupid (one move wonder) V4 (6c). He took me a couple of tries but I finally managed to climb it.

Climbing at Castle Rock
After watching the Petzl climbing video, Benoit wanted to climb outside so we went to Castle Rock which is a great place for bouldering.

The crew is ready.

Lucas chalking his hands.

Lucas climbing the nice sandstone boulders.

Benoit climbing with style.

Benoit climbing down.

Benoit is trying to make some fire with wood sticks. It did not work out so well.

La fourmiliere. Ant's house is fun to watch. Just poke it with a stick and you see a thousand of ants moving around.

First vacation day in France
Your first day of vacation started at San Francisco Airport. Our plane was a big 747 from Air France.
The fly went well. After 11 hour or so we arrived at Paris where Benoit started by a little bit of skateboarding while Claire was getting the renting car.
In our way to La Rochelle we stopped at Fontainebleau for some fun climbing.
We finished our day at La Rochelle with Margot birthday.

Fontainebleau.
